Grove Park, Harborne.

This is off Harborne Park Road and hosts a large lake and a play area as well as expanses of grass with nooks and crannies to hide in.

There are ducks and geese on the lake so good for bread chucking.  The play area is fairly new and good for a range of ages with infant and older kid’s swings, a climbing frame that would suit those up to about 6 and a scary whirly thing that was a favourite with the teenagers when we went.  There aren’t many paths so not ideal for scooters or bicycles.

Pros – it’s a nice park, bit of everything. Cons – Always seems to be uncommonly squelchy in the colder months so definitely take wellies.
